NEW JUSTICE ACCESS CENTRE OPENS IN NANAIMO
Dr. Ellen White, Snuneymuxw First Nation Elder, looks on as Attorney General Wally Oppal delivers his remarks at the official opening of the Nanaimo Justice Access Centre. The newly expanded pilot project allows individuals with legal disputes quick and affordable access to information and services. The project is funded through the Ministry of Attorney General, the Legal Services Society and grants from the Law Foundation.

NANAIMO – A newly expanded Justice Access Centre that gives people with legal disputes quick and affordable access to information and services was officially opened by Attorney General Wally Oppal and Mayland McKimm, QC, chair of the board of directors of the Legal Services Society.

SET CLOCKS BACK ONE HOUR THIS WEEKEND
VICTORIA – Attorney General Wally Oppal is reminding British Columbians that daylight saving time will end Sunday, Nov. 2, requiring them to set their clocks back one hour before they go to bed Saturday night. Daylight saving time will resume March 8.

Our goal is to seek innovative ways to better our justice services and give British Columbians access to a quality justice system that meets their needs.
